A couple days ago I went to the forest with my camera to see if the lovely spring evening offered me something. There wasn’t any certain plan or concept, just to get some fresh air and possibly get inspired.
Hungarian word -illanó- means evanescent or ephemeral. We usually feel this transience, when the sun goes down and for a moment the forest becomes a dreamy world with magical vibes before the night and darkness. In this evening I felt so strongly this ephemeral magic, so I had to capture and express it with a few portraits.
Sometimes it’s just nice to go and experience what kind of world or imaginations evoke in us by a place, light or the mood. And giving forms to these spontaneous imaginations is such a therapeutic method.
