We have made a nice little hike before Christmas in Tatras, Slovakia. The trip started on 12/22 afternoon from Eger, Northern Hungary, and then we drove to our accommodation near by Poprad. After some pálinka and beer we went to sleep, and the next morning, we started to climb the mountains at 7pm. Above the clouds amazing view and sunshine were waiting for us and 15-17 degrees. Plus melting ice, so we came down in socks just in case. Here are photos from Tatra and some pics about the home-way.
